Filming, Interviewing Teachers-03/12/09

Today, we began the intervewing process and interviewed certain teachers within the school. In total, we interviewed three teachers in total. While recording our footage, we captured a range of different views and opinions from the teachers. This did not arise when asked whether they had any friends or family members effected by obesity, one teacher's response was that she did not personally know of anybody but she did however "see people" on the streets that were overweight. When the other teachers were asked whether they had any family members or friends that were effected by the problem, their opinions swayed towards the schemes that are in place within school for children to lose weight. This was a positive aspect that was captured but then when asked what their views were on obesity, that's when the views started to differ. One teacher response was less descriptive. She only stated that obesity was not good for the heart. So when you review the footage, you can see that the description is very basic. But when you hear the other teacher's views, you can hear a different tone of answer. Their answer was very egotistical. They went on to say that it is "unnecessary".
